And, why does he keep fingering you if you smell? well you can try an antifungal creme to see if that helps, but if the problem persists you need to tell your parents because it can be a UTI and that can lead up to a bladder infection.
what i dont understand is, is that if your old enough to be fingered than why arent you old enough to tell your parents you need to see a doctor
It sounds like cystitis, but if you're worried go to the doctor. You don't have to say anything about what you and your boyfriend get up to. Thrush and cystitis are common in females of all ages.
You can't get antibiotics over the counter. Drinking plenty of fluids will help a lot.
How about the school nurse if you don't want to see your doctor? You DON'T need to tell your parents. If you haven't been having intercourse then it is very unlikely you have anything to worry about.
Christina I don't think that's a helpful answer at all - she asked a question and is obviously scared and unsure. Would you have discussed this with your parents? Once you were 'old enough to be fingered' would you have told your parents? What is old enough anyway? Emily - you don't have to take an adult with you and anything you say is totally confidential. I agree with DirtyHarriet - she offers very good advice. Try not to worry love - it'll be fine.
Emily - first things first, don't worry! It sounds like you have a small infection, and if so this can be treated in complete confidence. These things happen from time to time, and there's every chance that it's not even related to your activities with your boyfriend. Go to your GP, and he/she will prescribe something - you need not mention what you suspect the cause to be. You don't need to take an adult, and once again DON'T WORRY! Doctors have seen everything. You'll be as right as rain in no time.
