EMA Allowance
Hi
I'm an 18 year old fulltime student. My problem is with the EMA system, how it works. Today I woke up and realised my lesson had already started, I decided not to go into college because I know if I went in late then I would have missed one lesson, but still been in for the others. The reason I decided to stay home is because I can go in tomorrow and bring a note in saying I was absent and I will still get my 30 which I need.
If I missed one lesson and went in late then I wouldn't have got my 30. It seems to me the EMA system is really messed up. If you're over 10 mins late to a lesson, the tutor will not mark you in. Not only do I not get paid, its also a fire hazard, isn't it?
It seems obvious to me that the tutor will know I'm lying if I say I'm ill but can he do anything if I go to student services tomorrow and bring a note in saying I was ill?
Hope u guys can understand where I'm coming from here :)
