What is with the arguments this year?!! Girl thing..?

If it's not food, it's fags, if its not fags its booze, if its not booze its Ziggy...and the list goes on.
Would there be so many arguments if the house was equally balanced with boys and girls? Is this just a girl thing that they tend to argue about EVERYTHING?! WHat about if it was an all male house - would they argue sooo much? Or is it simply down to the individual controversial characters?
Every night i watch it for about half an hour LIVE on E4 and you can guarantee there will be someone arguing or b!tching. No previous years have been this argumentative.

Normally trivial matters escalate and become issues on which to base group arguments as the grgoup settle into some sort of social order - the alpha members will 'fight' to obtain a high position, the rest will fall in with the hierarchy.
It can be exacerbated by females who are generally more keen to ensure that their point of view is heard and understood, and bonding is effective. Men as a rule can shrug off these issues and move on quite quickly.
It's the standard ineractions of a group in this situation - that's what makes BB entertaining - or not - depending on your point of view.
