If you mean the Nazi swastika (which is itself a reversed version of a Hindu symbol for peace), not widely, by neo-nazi groups still venerate it.
Yes, if you watch Channel 5 or the History Channel (in the UK) there is a high probability that they'll have yet another "When Nazis go Bad"-type programme on.
The swastika is often used in elementary group theory (a branch of Maths)- but, needless to say, it's got nothing to do with its connection to the Nazis. And speaking of the History channel, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's noticed that they (the people who run the channel) seem to think that history began in the 1930's and ended in the 1940's.
