Golf MK4 TDI turbo problem
Ive just been told by a VW dealer that I need a new turbo coz the waste gate on mine is sticking open. They also said it will cost me 1000 !
The problem I have is a loss of power and to be honest I think their diagnosis is right. What I need to know is,is it possible to strip/clean the waste gate valve or is it a new complete turbo as they suggest ??
Thanx.
