Just wondered if anyone else feels they are still being affected by Seroxat after discontinuing use - I have memory problems and trouble expressing myself ie. finding the right words for things etc. which seemed to start after quite severe withdrawal symptoms

God, until I read your question I didn't realise they were the same drug.I was prescribed Paroxetine for depression about 6 years ago. I only took one tablet, that was enough! I remember feeling really sleepy and having to lie down, when I woke up and tried to cook my kids' tea, I was stood in the kitchen not knowing how to do it. I was terrified as I didn't know what was happening to me.I phoned the pharmacist the next day and was told it was an abnormal reaction and not to take any more. Even though I still suffer from depression on occaision, I will never take another anti - depressant.
