I always thought that BHINDI was a small red circle which Hindu women put in the middle of their foreheads, between the eyes, so I would never have thought of that as a name for "lady's fingers". I thought "lady's fingers" were OKRA. Very confusing. And as for XYSTOI, what can I say? A wonderful word which I've never heard of (must remember that for scrabble games!).
