were going on holiday on the 24th of this month to spain and were renting a car for the week were taking my little boy whos 5 and i wounded if hel need a car seat? are the laws like here in england? thanks in advance x

surely its better to be safe then sorry,you can order a car seat at most good car hire companies in spain,dont take risks with your childs life
No he won't need a car seat, but he has to sit in the back until he's 12 - if you see what I mean, and he must wear a seat belt.
As NORMANTHEDOG says, your better with one, when I picked up my hire car from TUI Owners Abroad in Menorca this May they had stacks of childs seats.
But do remember that as it is not usual for a 5yr old children to have car seats over here, they may only supply baby ones, do check.
Have just spoken to my daughter who works for a Rent a car in Ibiza. she says they have booster seats for younger children BUT you have to fit them yourself, so that in case of accident and the child gets injured in a wrongly placed booster/car seat, you cannot sue them.
