I am so confused...doesn't take much!!!

Ok trying to cut this short but met a guy a few weeks ago and he seemed quite interested asked for my number, text me the next day and asked if i wanted to go for a drink sometime. Anyway a few days went past and i text him and we had a little banter back and forth but didn't organise a meeting. I then waited a few days and asked if he wanted to go for that drink the next night and he agreed. He then let me down because a few days beforehand he'd been to hosp and was on strong painkillers and didn't feel up for going out for a drink, plus he said he didn't feel "sexy" bcoz he hadn't had a proper shower since being in hosp. I thought likely story so thought "****** him" and send him a text saying "maybe see you around". He then asked if I was annoyed with him and i ended up feeling bad. Anyway he still texts me and i text him now and again but we've never met up and i'm thinking will we ever and is he actually intertesed????

I was just giving him the benefit of the doubt but that was only because he seemed concerned if i was annoyed with him and didn't think he would be if he didn't like me...oh i am very confused. There is things that make me think he likes me and other things that make me think nope he doesn't.

Do you know why he was in hospital? Maybe he has a scar that he is embaressed about and is making other excuses? or maybe he is still in a lot of pain? He should just say that tho instead of letting you down. If he was really keen then he should let you know, it's not fair to string you along like this and if I was you I would cut my losses.
Don't feel bad because he showed a bit of concern as he still hasn't arranged a date anyway!
