Thistles

My nephew recently passed away aged 14, his favourite flowers were thistles and I would like to know where to buy some, on line, for our garden .

You can get them at Nicky's Nursery ..there are various types of thistle though and although there are ornamental ones some are classed as weeds .

So many to choose from !
I think a good ornamental variety is the globe thistle, it's a perenial whch comes up year after year and has beautiful round heads that will attract bumble bees all day long.

I'm sure you will find a fitting choice as a memorial.
