Can i keep a slow worm as a pet if so do i have to keep it in the garden or in a big tank?? can you help me

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I don't know exactly, but it's illegal to touch, pick up or otherwise displace them so it'd be a bit awkward to keep (and a bit boring I'd imagine). Get a garter snake, they're bitey little things to fill your life with excitement...
Alternatively, if you're really into this whole eyelids thing then there are lots of other lizards out there, except they have legs. Why go to all that trouble when you can get 4 extra legs for less than the price of none?

Your question takes me back a few years, when i was a lot younger i always would find slow worms and i would keep them as my pets, i kept them in my shed in a box full of grass and i used to go hunting for insects for them to eat, they always managed to get away which was for the best coz i actually knew nothing about them. If you do decide to keep it then have a good read up on them.
