can a company suspend and then demote an employee on the grounds of a child protection issue, when the company itself has failed to meet contractual obligations and indeed National Minimum Standards, by not providing that employee with child protection training?
most companies dont make decisions like this just out of the hat, they usually consult a solicitor first before doing it,,you might not like the decision but they must have some sort of law on their side to do it,but the person in question really should seek some answers from them and if not happy with that, contact their own solicitor.
