Jackrabbits

I have a garden which contains prickley pears and a butterfly garden and jackrabbits are eating the planets and distroying flowerbed. Help me what can I do? Someone suggested wolf urine!

I take it you're from the USA.The best way if you're not into shooting, is to erect a fence of chicken netting,which must be buried 9'' deep with approx a height above ground of 3 foot.
