Hey, Nottingham! I remember those days. Is it Nottingham or Nottingham Trent? I know they share the same law school but still...
The best advice I would offer to you is to check out some legal student publications like 'Lawyer2b' (sic).
Nottingham has some close ties with local large law firms and these magazines will go into greater detail on them. Also, the CPS have close ties with Nottingham, who put 100 places aside on the LPC 'for those who don't wish to go into private practice'.
I really wouldn't like to offer any other advice about what to do with your life bar two things:
You really can't do the LPC et al for money. Well, I mean you can, but I know people who did and they just couldn't stick the hours. If you don't really appreciate the law I can't suggest you go for it; but if you must, try a firm specialising in Property or Trusts.
It is a small thing I know and yes, I realise this is online, but please look at your grammar and spelling. In reading your question, I would never have guessed it was from a prospective lawyer. Perhaps your handwriting is word perfect (I'm sure it is), but lapsing into the 'txt' style doesn't do you any favours. Just a thought, and good luck! :-)
