Is this not the Mo' Cartoons all over again? How long before they are outside No. 10 or Buckingham palace telling us who we can and can't give a knighthood to and muslims wonder why they feel alienated by the west. Why can't they understand liberty and free speach. I say live and let live.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I agree we should not be dictated to by any other country as to whom knighthoods are granted.Nevertheless I fail to see any reason for someone who writes books including a highly controversial one that forced him into hiding at great expense to this country to qualify for a knighthood.He does not even live in this country anymore.America is his chosen country.Now we will have a great stirring up of trouble from Muslims who are still after him and it might bring innocent people into danger.Whoever put him up for a knighthood needs to think again.
