Has anyone, or does anyone know of some one, who has been prosecuted via these cameras?

Apparently 250,000 were caught in 12 months during roadworks on a section of the A1M near Stevenage.
yes,i was caught on the M1 stretch at luton 3 months ago,so dont think they dont work, since the start of these roadworks 150,000 have been caught.
Wow, I didn't think there were so many stupid drivers in this country.
And you've never exceeded the speed limit even by one mile an hour Gef ?
Let him who is without sin .... etc.
These cameras are evil since your average speed is always lower than your maximum speed over a given stretch (notwithstanding cruise control)
they only have type approval to cover one lane per camera,
just switch lanes when you go past one and back again and so on, hey presto no speeding offence!
I also heard that about the single lane - anyone disproven this one?
Generally you will be breaking the law on two counts if you change lanes.... The cameras I have passed are in areas which prohibit changing lanes with signage and road markings indicating as such. If you change lane you are breaking that law. If you change lanes with the intent to pervert the course of justice that is another offence.

They work by offsetting your time by number plate recognition, so I suspect that they will be able to pull out a long list of registration plate that go in one end and are not picked up by that camers at the other.

Those type of cameras used on normal dual carriage (I am not aware of any) you would not catch you if you changed lane.
