Two girls age 27 years old going to Amsterdam in August, can anybody recommend some good bars, clubs, restaurants etc.... We are doing all the museums, markets, boat trips, Heineken museum etc....Oh and Ive been before (and loved it!!) but with a huge croud of lads and girls, do you think we will be ok on our own out at night? i remember it being a bit intimidating even with the blokes with us and my mate wants to see the red light district, x

Buy "The Rough Guide to Amsterdam" as it's full of useful info on clubs, pubs, restaurants etc. Keep to the busy streets and you should have no problems.
