what can I add to salsa to make it less spicy?

Rita - if it is a tomato based salsa - all you have to do is add more tomatoes.

Also - and it will change the taste as well, but sometimes I add a little bit of sour cream. If you haven't done that before - you could just take a spoonful of the salsa and add a little bit of the sour cream to it to see if you like the way it tastes before you do the whole thing.
Exactly as BBW says (morning BBW).

Or you could put a big dollop of sour cream in the middle, that way you get both the spicyness and the 'coolness' slightly separately, best of both worlds.
