Stuck on God of war 2

How do you get past the part with the two women. Ive beaten the first woman and then the second on the bridge but i dont know how to do the bit with both of them. Ive tried smashing the mirrors, just hitting the one who pops out, using magic on them but to be honest ive run out of ideas. Every now and then one of them crouches down and is surrounded by blue, still dont know what to do. Please help me somebody, its doing my head in
