It was made in 1899 and is a large one penny coin, which i believe makes it 104 years old, can you please tell me roughly how much i could get for it?

I don't think you'll get a great deal for it I saw a coin collector at an antique fair and he told me that unless the coin is absolutely mint condition is of an unusual appearance due to it's lustre ,or is one of the ones issued in 1933 in the short rein of Edward the eight then most collectors melted them down as they were virtually worthle
There is a useful answer to the question at:- http://www.24carat.co.uk/valueofmycoin.html There is also an article about the famous 1933 penny on the same website. 1933 was in the reign of George V, not Edward VIII who was king only during 1936, some Edward coins exist dated 1936 for British West AFrica, and some very rare UK pattern coins exist dated 1937 bearing his head.
