im a permanent resident and work in Uk and my kids and i are planning to go to the US to visit my brother and to see Disneyland at the same time,,can i definitely be grant a visa?do i pay for the whole family or individual fee for each of us and do i need to appear personally in the US embassy or can i apply by post?thank u

But in general:
No-one is ever guaranteed a visa - you have to apply.
The fee is $100 per person
Anyone over 14 and under 18 must attend the Embassy personally.
But if you are of the 'right' nationality you may be eligible for the visa waiver scheme which means you just fill in a form on the plane and apply on arrival.

take a letter of invitation from your brother, it will help your application, he must state his full name address and his proof of naturalisation etc [assuming he wasnt born in the US].
If he isnt legal, then just state Disneyland holiday as reason for going.
This visa application will take time,make sure you take all the relevant documents with you, forget one & you have to start again.
