If I was to fly from the states to another country, making like two stops along the way, do I need to get my passport stamped at every location/city, and vice versa on the return trip?

No.

The countries you visit will stamp, or not stamp, your passport as they see fit. If they don't want to stamp it you'll have a job persuading them.

Why would you want to anyway?

the way i see it,,, it depends on passport u hold and the other countries u visit,,
if u r holding a UK/EU passport none of the EU member states will stamp ur passport,, if u go outside EU ur passport will b stamp by that country..
