Cheer up sleepy Jeans

I've got a weird question, I don't know why but got me thinking over weekend. When buying blue trousers not much will go with them, whereas anything goes with Jeans, How come?

but why does it, green jeans or red jeans dont, so why should blue jeans

hmmm... very good question, never thought of it like that but you're quite right... Perhaps it's the particular shade of blue? Perhaps as Psychick suggests we see the material before we see the colour, simply because jeans are so widely worn?

so do you reckon that when we are all old, those of us who arent already we will be wearing jeans. Because you see pensioners wearing cotton trousers skirts etc now. so when we are at that age do you think we'll all be wearing jeans in retirement homes.

not me, I gave up jeans when I turned 30 and have never worn them since. I just decided they were cold in winter and hot in summer and chafed my legs. I stand out in a crowd now, of course, the one who isn't wearing denim. They've been in fashion since the 50s if not earlier (though not as common as now), so I expect there are already OAPs wearing them. But I'm sticking with cotton.

Oh yes 4get, because of my 29 inch waist I have a nightmare trying to get the right size jeans, small at the waist, big around the zip area lol
