BEST Budget CD-RW?

Does anyone know of the BEST budget External CD-RW that actually works burning music to CD's EVERY TIME?...under �50 if poss. Sick up to the back teeth of buying used on ebay and ALWAY'S having probs with it refusing to burn at sometime or other!!! Bearing in mind I'm using WindowsXP and my PC is USB1.1

But if you have a desktop pc you should consider spending under �10 on upgrading your usb1 to usb2 - the difference is remarkable.

Thanks so much Ethel for all your info...everything taken on board. I have had the case open in the past to increase memory, but i'm still a bit hesitant of making a blunder and then having to pay out a fortune on a repair!...BUT I think I just might take the plunge, and I know like you've said, it'll be WELL WORTH IT especially for the burning side of things. Thank you for boosting my confidence AND for helping me make my mind up!!
