Without bothering about trivial considerations such as loyal long-term users, it is now banning questions at the point of submission.

Ace move AB !! Who needs loyal users after all.

rugelelelely boy, this question must have popped out to Londis to buy a pint of milk.
there are considerable if intermittent delays on AB lately, so maybe your post is just held up by a postman's strike somewhere. Be patient.
I posted a thread in body and soul last night about being emotionally wrecked after the Diana concert, it was zapped within a few minutes, it was in the right category and was expressing my feelings after the concert, i am not pleased it is now in my profile with a big pink banner above it.

No jno, it says 'This question is banned' in that pretty pink on orange background which indicates editorial disapproval rather than failureof delivery. I don't like the word banned, it makes me feel somehow tainted and imperfect.
we are all imperfect, whiffey, as your Bible studies will teach you; but I am surprised at your instant banning. How strange.

Incidentally, I see Mr Bush has just commuted the prison sentence of Lewis Libby, the aide to Vice President Cheney who was implicated in 'outing' a US secret service agent out of political spite. Given that he is a former governor of Texas, which trails only China and Saudi Arabia in the exexcution stakes, I can only welcoome this sudden outburst of forgiveness in Mr Bush.

So I had a question banned, in a most un-biblical way. What has this to do with tomato juice ?
who does need loyal users?

i can't really see that this site does, as there will always be people coming and going when they need questions answering wont there - no loyalty required for that.
As far as i can see "loyal users" are the ones that get their questions banned because they get comfy in their section, or because they get comfy and think they can start swearing, or they get comfy and start chatting, or using the website for other than what it was intended for, so really, i would think the website dosent need loyal users, in that sense.
The loyal users are the ones that come here and steadfastly give good advice and answers, (buenchio, ethel and so on) but dont spend the rest of the time shouting ME ME ME as others seem to
