i use this software just for addresses and then printing them on to envelopes does anybody use this system for anything different.

We use Act as a contact management system. All our sales guys put whoever they've been in contact with into it. Not sure what else they use it for, but it's on a dedicated server so I suspect there's some sort of marketing reports used on it too. Like lead generation and contract success ratios. Something like that.
