Ive got an Astra 1.4i 1997 (Mk3). SOmetimes it seems to hesistate before the power comes in and the revs go up on their own. Sometimes its fine but seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Had a couple of opinions of fuel filter blocked or o2 sensor faulty. Anyone got any advice?

i have a corsa 1.4 that developed similar probs. First inspection found a hole in exhaust, this would effect lambda/o2 sensos. had been blowing for a while, now suspect sensor carboned up. going to remove to investigate. Bet your fuel consumptions up aswell!
