Were talked up by the indie music press in the late Nineties, their album was pretty good, & 'Sleep' was a great single. But what happened to them after that - did they split or were they dropped? Or are they still recording? Any info is much appreciated.

I know someone who is going out with the lead singer -the marion band from Macclesfield. They are no longer in music and have gone down a bad road

a bad road eh? some might argue that any road out of Macclesfield is a good road but please elaborate - I'm intrigued. Have they taken up a career in extortion, armed robbery? Surely not the ultimate in evil...advertising??!

Yes, I heard that singer Jaime Harding isn't doing so well. Guitarist Phil Cunningham plays in New Order. No idea about the others.
