Does anyone know of a fabric glue that would stick lace?I think sewing would show too much and it's the hem of the dress.

I assume you mean to put the hem up. If so, use Wonderweb - just iron it on and it will stick.

No sorry I don't mean to stick the hem up.The dress has a tear in it that needs fixing.
Had a sheer cheesecloth dress once that split. I used the stuff that they iron on facings on blouses/ladies shirts (the bit behind the button and buttonhole turnings on the front). I bought the sheerest (lightest weight) one you can get, laid it behind the tear, taking care to line up the edges evenly, then lightly ironed the material (in your case the lace). Not sure what colour your dress is but shouldn't show through if you get the very fine iron-on fabric. Good luck.

Ok thanks.It's a black dress by the way and I haven't even worn it yet.Will look into it!
