I hope it all does help her give up, but at the moment she is unlivable with due to not being able to calm her stress, It isn't easy I guess, I sympathise with her as i know how stressful the job is, I just hope she can get her head round it before she wraps someone else's round a lamppost.
Doc when i picked her up at the station just now shje was really feeling pannicky, she says there just is no where tio smoke in the middle of Preston, I told her that she should maybe quit and she went ballistic! She said if it went on like this and she couldn't just have a smoke 3 times a day she would be quitting to go fruit picking over the summer, i am confused now.
Doc don't get me wrong, i cannot tolerate cigarette smoke around me it stops me being able to breath properly, and my daughter shouldn't have ever started smoking, but she did, when she was 13 or 14, like alot of kids, she hid it from me for several years, but contstant punishment for it didn't work, now she used cigarettes as a form of stress relief and is not listening when i tell her to try to quit, but this I hope will now work, she will get used to it, it is a great change and for many won;t be easy, i think alot of people thought it was just a case of not being allowed to smoke indoors, but it seems there is a distance restriction, and in a city that is not easy to get past.
Yippee - we can resume our Quiz nights again....
I believe in free choice & all that, but I'm personally glad of the smoking ban in pubs & especially restaurants.
We used to really enjoy going to quiz nights on a Tuesday in our local pub, but gave up due to coming home with hair & clothes stinking of cigarette smoke, having sore eyes & it making my sinusitis worse!
