Did Wild West bank robber Butch Cassidy have a British accent seeing as his father was English and his mother Scottish? Much the same as Ned Kelly spoke with an Irish accent even though he grew up in Australia?

Maybe in his early years, he travelelled about alot and even spent some time here in England, I don't know if he was ever on film, or had his voice recorded, he certainly lived long enough, dying just before world war two, it may be the case that somewhere there is a recording, though his anonymity at the end of his life would have meant he kept a low profile. I will always imagine him with paul Newman's accent though lol
possibly - though it's not clear what a 'British' accent would actually have been, with a Scot on one side and an Englishman on the other. But it's also quite likely that, since he was actually born in Utah, he grew up with the local accent, much as the children of immigrants to Britain tend to speak in British rather than, say, Indian accents. Kelly on the other hand may have grown up with other Irish families and kept an Irish accent that way, I don't know.
