believe in coincidence?

My mum was telling me the other day she went to get a watch battery for my neices electronic game,so she put it in her handbag but shed forgotten all about it until she dropped her bag outside the supermarket and it fell out with other stuff well she collected up all the bits & bobs and couldnt be bothered to brave the supemarket again .sometime later she was checking the contents of the bag and there was not one but two batteries the dud one and the other one when inserted into the game rworked that was a week ago and the game is still going strong.what im (eventually) getting around to wa s this just coincidence or something more a cosmic prank?

Maybe you mum uses battery operated gadgets for herself and hid extra battery in her bag for emergency situation. And she forgot the battery was in her bag.

Is this not most likely to be that when she bought the battery it came in a pack of two, and she simply forgot about the second one..?

Mr M's watch stopped yesterday at 9:25 so he went to get his other one out of the drawer and it too had stopped at 9:25 what is it with these batteries !! Or like your Mum is it a cosmic prank ,if not he's going to have to buy two batteries.

That is spooky ! maybe drop the dead ones in a supermarket carpark! :)
