Are other countries throwing money at the UK to help flood victims out of this horrible situation?Perhaps there are ''Flood AID'' concerts being organised up and down Europe or the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why cant I get my tongue out of my cheek its very uncomfortable!!
maybe if it was london that was flooded we would be watching a concert staged at wembley now for the london relief fund instead of save the planet.you can just see it cant you?
"The British people, along with their far-reaching Empire, shall and will always stand above and superior to the lesser people on the Continent of Europe. Moreover, we will, and should shun any patronizing attempts of assistance from the mutinous Colonies to the west of us. We shall persevere: "There'll Always Be An England".

In New Orleans, 'lost everything' mostly meant 'lost a ramshackle little house and a few sticks of old furniture'. When 'lost everything' means a fifteen-thousand-pounds, recently installed, state-of-the-art kitchen, I don't feel quite so inclined to dip into my pocket for them, insured or otherwise.
Good one saxy jag..Annoying for that to happen to anyone but It wasnt a Tsunami ..They lost furniture and many would be thinking time we got a new one anyway. I know someone who was pleased as punch his car was written off! And if some werent insured then thats life..I noticed the belongings of some of the families..Plasma tellys arent cheap and maybe they should have bought a cheaper one then used the rest on house and contents insurance..S--t Happens
Shows where our priorites are; charity relief funds were set up for the Farepak customers who lost money when the company went bust. Maybe its because most people are under the impression that our honest, scrupulous insurance companies will provide the home owners with exactly what they have lost.
The Farepak customers were almost entirely the poorest people in this country many of whom will have had a pretty miserable Christmas as the result of of the greed of one company.
Sheffield was a flood which was devastating yes, but that's what you have insurance for!
