I dry the top bits with the towel, then wander downstairs with a bandy gait so that the fresh air can get at the hairy enclosed bits. After I have sat on the dining room chairs naked I always give them a doofing up with with furniture polish to get rid of any odours, in the unlikely event that any might have landed there. You can always tell. If you sit on furniture naked, the telling bit is when you stand up. If it is a clean withdrawal then no probs, but if it is a bit sticky then polish the surfaces afterwards. Keep the polish and cloth on permanent standby.
