this is related to a post elsewhere online.
it made me trhink though.
youre in a relationship and everything is fine .
you might have kids you might not.
but suddenly the relationship breaks down.
why is it when that happens that the first and sometimes the only concern is about money?
whos got most , who deserves it , whos it is , and whos gonna end up with it??
is it always the case that after love we expect some cash or something as a sweetener for all the time we put in?
and is that right or wrong?

I don't think that is the main concern, its just the one that everybody bangs on about along with who gets the house, its obviously an important issue as each partner wants their share before it disappears, both partners will need to be moving on and both will need finances to do this, been there done it twice now!!

I hope that never happens to me, but I know in my heart the last thing I would think about is the cash, he aint got any. Honestly though, sadness would be the main issue for me.

Of course money is important ~ when my ex left me I first had to deal with being abandoned emotionally, then the fear of not having any money set in.

Unfortunately we all need money to survive. There should be no shame in taking your share.
