Sure, but for the first timer I'd recommend some experienced help. You'll need a minimum of tools and some ides of how to remove the old one (is this a replacement?) and how to install, level, square and make weather tight the new one. Additionally, unless the window is relatively small, it takes at least two people to insert and steady the window while it's being shimmed by the second person... Good luck!
