How do you get into the policeforce?

Hello,

I am a 27 year old professional with an MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice.

I have recently become interested in joining the police but haven't a clue where to begin.I live in London and have tried t get on the met police website but it won't let me so I don't know where to go!

Life is passing me by and I want to do what I have a real passion for.

Any advice very much welcome!

As has been said, you will still probably have to start at the bottom, even with a degree.

Mine was tongue in cheek lol. I mean someone asked yeterday where they could get exam results for the University of Glasgow. How about the University of Glasgow.

I find it slightly worrying when people post on here (which they have done) "how do I go about joining the fire service"...

I visit several Police stations every week in the course of my work and they are all very helpful. They have posters on the wall with plenty of information on them and all the counter staff would point you in the right direction.
