Sony Video HandyCam tape jammed any ideas ?
2 Answers
I am racked with guilt. I borrowed a Sony HandyCam Video 8 to transfer some old tapes I had on to DVD.
All was going well until one tape went in made a bleeping noise and now wont eject or play.
I can see no way of doing a manual eject all I get is a slight click on the eject switch (I am using a mains adaptor)
It is out of guarantee and to get the tape out is called a "repair" by Jessops at a standard cost of 222.
I feel obliged to get it fixed of course but If anyone knows how to get a jammed tape out I would love to know.
