Us brits can be eccentric and several place have unusual customs/festivals for example the whittlesea straw bear festival where a man dressed up as a straw bear walk along the road,made to dance in front of houses,i wondered if you could provide me with more unusual british customs/festivals.

I can't post a link to you tube because access denied at work but Abingdon has a bun throwng celebration each year - the mayor throws hot cross buns from the roof of the town hall, literally 1000's of them.
