My dad has it and has regular heat treatment at the hospital for it. He also bogs off to India about 6 times a year. He has a fabulous tan all year round from it all :-(
sorry roughquest, i really must point out, there is no cure fir psoriasis, in some people, mainly those with mild psoriasis, the sun, natural or otherwise does help it, but not cure. as for those with secvere ps, the best solutions are elecon, diprosalic, or dithranol treatments which are given in hospital.
im glad you said that devilwoman, my daughter suffers terrible with it and has been told their is no cure for it and it is heriditary, teh summer does bring a bit of relief but it never goes
Try Alphosyl, which you can usually get over the counter. I have mild psoriasis affecting only my fingers - in fact at this very moment, I have one coated in the stuff in a finger-stall! I've had just about every known "treatment" including UV light, Dovonex, Elocon and several other such creams prescribed by consultants. None of them worked, but Alphosyl did.
As Devilwoman says, there is no cure, so it will always reappear, but it would be worth giving Alphosyl a go at least. If it doesn't work for you, it won't have cost much to find out.
For years I have tested so many techniques to help my Psoriasis, and some things have helped more than others. Some things I have done have worked very well. Many other people have different stories on what helped them the most. For more details visit http://www.mypsoriasistreatment.com/
