I am pregnant and have health insurance through my mother's work. Now the insurance covers me but not my unborn baby. I tried to apply to All Kids but they need informtion on the baby that I don't know yet because she is not born. So do I have to wait until the baby is born to get her covered?

Iam with Bupa and once you have a policy yourself your child will be covered from birth until the policy renewal date, you will have to phone them with the childs name and dob once born I would imagine most health insurance companies operate this way.
I am wondering though if your mother's policy will be able to include her grandchild once the renewal date arrives? Probably best for your mother to check with her HR department as to whether grandchildren can be covered under her policy, usually it is the policy holder, their partner and their children.
