I doubt you will find one that fits as bay windows have all different sizes. WHat we have in our bays are 3 normal (2 small and one long) seperate radiators all linked. They were in when we moved in though.
We had a round bay in our last house. It had to be specially modified & was quite expensive, although can't remember how much now. Shop around & if it's too expensive, buy a flat one & hang it elsewhere in the room!
A friend of mine had one modified to fit his bay window i.e. he took it into work(having carefully measured the curvature required) and got one of the engineers to heat it at certain points with a blow torch, but it was a very delicate and painstaking process by all accounts, though it did work!
Just go to a local plumbers merchant (not B&Q etc but a PROPER plumbers merchant) with a template of the curve/angles needed.
Use an old roll of wallpaper and cut to shape. You should be able to get a price there and then, but as a rule of thumb for an average sized bay with an average sized radiator you are probably looking at about 100 plus the cost of a new radiator. and it should take about 3 days to complete.
Hi All. Thanks for your input re curved rads. We have found a very helpful company in Essex that simply "curve" your rad to order(you or they supply).Cost is 30 per Metre.Takes 3-4days.tel 01702 200836.Greenfinch Engineering(Mike Banfield). Cheers Ozzie
