i would like to know if anyone can remember a song called "THE DEAL", this song was about a little boy that was dieing and his dad was making a deal with god to take his place. if you know the title and artist I would be grateful if you could let me know i;m not to sure when this was released but i'm guessing around late 70's early 80's ISH!!! many thanks kim

the title is as you said, "The Deal", and the artist was the incomparable Pat Campbell. It became popular (!) in the seventies after being aired by Kenny Everett on his "world's worst wireless show" feature - along with Jimmy Cross, Nervous Norvus, etc....
