McIntyre's Underworld - summat don't
I watched this last night and something didn't quite "ring true".
If the "supergrass" that was featured in the programme (can't remember his name) is, as stated by Donal McIntyre, "in hiding" and as well known and despised as it appears he is (he was abused by passers on more than one occasion during filming) and has a 100K bounty on his head, then surely :
a) he'd be in some kind of witness protection programme?
b) he wouldn't walk/drive around Liverpool in broad daylight?
c) he wouldn't go into his local pub with a camera crew (that's not exactly keeping a low profile, is it?!)?
d) he wouldn't be working as a window cleaner?
I also thought it was very stupid of Donal McIntyre to openly laugh at and ridicule the guy that the Supergrass "put away" - did he think that the guy wouldn't see the programme?!
