I believe the original was released in 1968 by Grady Tate. It's also been sung by: Pete Townsend and Petula Clark, and probably many others.

Elaine Paige on her Stages album (I think it was Stages"
"Windmills of Your Mind" was originally written for the film "The Thomas Crown Affair" by Michel Le Grand /Alan & Marilyn Bergman and was a UK top 10 hit for Noel Harrison in 1969.
Alison Moyet has done a version of this song on her new album The Voice which has just been released.
