Alternative medicine and asthma

My GP thinks I may be starting a touch of asthma, but it's not sufficiently bad to send me along the inhaler/medication route at the moment. I have been thinking about trying homeopathy or reflexology to see if I can ease the symptoms a bit. Does anyone know, please, which of the alternative treatments would be most helpful for this type of problem? Thanks.

Hi there, see my post above, but you can try eating local honey, or visiting a homeopath.
Hypnotherapy is also a successful route to try as it basically helps you to stop accepting the allergy and reframing it so that you don't suffer quite so badly / if at all.
Good luck

Have a shufti. at the website anyway. There was a Scottish nurse who had great sucess with kids who were in the early stages a couple of years ago, using breathing excercises.
Don't know how old you are. Do anything which exercises your lungs. Learn to play the bagpipes (it annoys the neighbours though). Swimming is good. And, dare I say it , ringing Church bells.
I've had it for years, been hospitalised several times. But exercising the lungs works wonders.
Do anything to keep off inhalers, once started you are hooked forever, as I am.
