Weekend break in Oxford

As a wedding present for my mum and her fiance my sisters and I have decided to chip in and pay for a surprise weekend away for them. Mum has always said she would like to go to Oxford so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of places to stay. We would like it to be a treat so maybe a spa? we have a budget of between �200 and �300 for a 2 night break.
