Hi MissR,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I finished work at 3 and then went to pick up kids from out of school care, picked up a parcel, went to get petrol and get something for the tea from Sainsburys, made dinner, ate dinner did a load of washing and loaded the dishwasher, watched a bit of star wars, cleaned out the hamster and here I am!
I haven't been on much either, but always have a wee look for you!
Yes mummies is the one where you wrap each other up in toilet roll. No it isn't raining here - for a change - I think you guys are getting the worst at the moment, although we are about 12 degrees colder than you. A colleague flew up from London yesterday and it was 24 degrees when she left and 12 degrees when she landed in Edinburgh. It is really cold at the moment.
Hmm desk games - pass the parcel? What about hangman - i have been teaching the boys that this week. How about making paper planes and seeing who's flys the best. A treasure hunt? A beetle drive? face painting? How about teaching them how to make those fortune telling thingys out of paper - where you pick a number, then a colour etc.
I'll see what else I can think of.

Best party game ever....sleeping lions. They have to lie still as long as they can. The people who move then have to watch the ones keeping still which keeps them interested. Another good game is you have a hat, scarf and gloves the person taking part has to put these all on then try and cut up a bar of chocolate with a knife and fork. The choc shouldn't be too cold or it will be too hard. If the people watching count up to a number after which the person has to take off hat, gloves etc and they start counting again while the next person is putting on the stuff etc.
One that boys particularly like...it might not be very PC any more though. You roll up newspapers into a tight rod. Blindfold one person. That person calls "Are you there Moriarty". Another person calls "here I am". The blindfolded person then tries to whack the person who calls out. It they are hit it is then there turn to have the blindfold.
You are either very brave or completely barking to take on 30 seven year olds. Rather you than me. Good Luck
