Strange habit
Would anyone know why my cat likes licking plastic? She is an indoor cat, if this would make a difference. Thanks

He insists on trying to climb it - it frustrates him that he can't get his claws into it. Sometimes I wonder about him!
Frankie and his sister (Princess Merlin) are 2 year old indoor cats.

My dogs lick the plastic on the shower curtain and, unfortunately, my legs when I get out of the shower. i have not been able to determine what they are missing in their diets that would cause them to do this. I think it is either something in the moisterizing soap or the water itself. The also try to lick the moisterizer off my legs, but I won't let them because it may make them sick and I don't want my legs to have "doggie breath". Also, I have had cats before and I believe they just sometimescrave attention. They do many things to get people's attention and perhaps that is what she is doing.
Your cat's have totally distinct personalities. That's what makes them so much fun. Although I am not a cat person, I know that even between litter mates the personalities vary greatly. Enjoy your little one and play with her often. I also found out recently that ferrets also love to play like that and some will even play with cats.
