Just finished this one. Bradman is fairly challenging and its taken me longer than usual. I somehow think he would have compiled this a week or two back at least before the 'Tour' became topical but anything is possible. Do you have a view on how many people enter this crossword? Looking at the winners addresses it seems to me that the winners are 'allotted'! in some formulae related to the geographical spread to number copies sold. Still we don't do it for the pen do we! Good luck.
I really like this crossword, I became hooked on it during an enforced stop-over in Jersey on the St Malo - Weymouth ferry. The Saturday FT being the only paper available. I was initially struck on how many winners seemed to be non-uk but I guess that if the same percentage of people enter from whereever the FT is available and if the selection is random then the most winners would, over time, come from the areas where the most copies are sold.
